The new nimbleMinds

A little intro to nM
The clan nimbleMinds was founded in October 2004 out of the UT-squad of another german clan,
stepo was leading at that time. Having the same goals, being not only german and sharing a playstyle the UT-squad was looking for a new home. nimbleMinds was the coding label geniuz and stepo were part of at that time. Being able to sponsor the page, voice-servers, bouncers and also gameservers along with a cool name the clan was quickly founded by
Diesel (aka Eiter), 
Patser and Stepo.
Many games have been played since then, but Unreal Tournament 2004 stayed the most important game for a long time. Even UT3 didn't change that. We even became active in UT99 when
Donk3y introduced his old clan Paellas survivors! and they became a part of nimbleMinds.
On the side we were always playing RTS games like WC3, CNC4 and a little SC2.
Starting with Tribes
Now it has already been a bit more than 2 month sinceEiter sent me a private message here on the boards, whether I wanna try T:A since he got a spare beta key. It was December the 6th. Kinda bored as i was at that time I tried installing it, and it failed after a long download. The launcher got stuck 
Restarted numerous times, and then the next day i played my first game of T:A...
Skiing? Sounds easy. Will try... But well I have to admit the first hills were not that easy to master for me, since the concept of skiing was completely new to me at that time. After a few hours I was flashed how fast one could actually go and the whole game got more and more exciting when I realized that one also fought at that speed with ballistic or projectile based weapons! I was quickly fascinated and tried to get more and more people from nimbleMinds to play that with me.
Patser and I were sitting on Teamspeak all the time, trying to unlock everything possible and when I got my first day off from work the first booster was bought...
From that time on I knew I would try everything to make this game be a huge part of nimbleMinds, so the recruiting started.
Who are the members now?
First of all congratulations to 4 new Fullmembers who have recently passed their trial period:

Besides the already known players of UT99 and UT2k4 we have a new team playing tribes ascend consisting of the following players:

Yahtzee, 
Zerdius
The community has grown too, and constists of the following players, sorted by fullmembers only playing this game for fun and people who joined our community:

The goals
Some days ago I was asked where I would see this clan in the future. I think I still owe it to the asking person to state it a little more detailed, so here we go.
I would like to see nM as a highly competitive clan, being well known in the European leagues and ladders. I will do my very best to form a team with people from all over Europe that enjoy the game and train often to win. These people will be surrounded with a number of players being the community of nimbleMinds. Players who are playing rather casual and enjoy the game until they want to start a more competitive approach.
I don't see any problem in participating in multiple ladders and leagues at the same time, I would even prefer it. I also see us participating in tournaments, training really hard and even forget real life from time to time. But we will be meeting each other on lans, or the so called nimbleMeetings whenever possible. Even this year a meeting in the UK (probably London) and one in Spain (probably Barcelona) are planned.
I also see nM playing more gamemodes within Tribes Ascend competitively. TDM, Arena or even Siege are very promising modes. nM has been active in the respective UT2k4 counterparts and I can't wait to give them a try. If the numbers of required players on these modes are similarly big nimbleMinds might even need to recruit more! So if you think you want to play with us, don't hesitate to introduce yourself. The CTF Team however is fixed for now and we will constantly try improving the teamplay and find rather fixed positions.
Team Games so far
We have played against some other european clans already organized through www.beyondgaming.com and some games were won, some games were lost. Our first game as a team ( No white-list access before that game) was shoutcasted and turned out to be a pretty obvious loss against 99fllake. We trained and analyzed really much and then won, again shoutcasted, against flatliners when trying a complete different tactic. Playing with a certain newly introduced but temporary ruleset we were struggling against hindsight and the substituted (SCNR) mighty discs, who showed us, that we need to adjust our play if we want to compete there. Playing another scrim vs FFR with "anything goes" we were giving them a close fight with some maps won. Curently beyondgaming is avoided by many known clans, but www.gameshrine.org looks promising and maybe we will find a new home for our scrims there.
We are all hoping to get a private server really soon, since the whitelisted servers are nearly always full, or at least not giving us the control over the settings.
From now on, I will introduce each teammember by interviewing them, starting with AnAnnatti and Knokky who were the first to start a trial.

So to help him introduce himself and myself be the one who breaks that counter I post an update about the new members. Since we had a huge growth from Scandinavia we also found a few members from middle and southern Europe now.
